The peptide market in Egypt has grown quickly, and most of that growth has happened outside any formal supply chain. Compounds arrive through personal importers, bulk brokers, and open marketplaces where nobody can tell you where a vial was made or how warm it got on the way. This guide sets out what to check before buying peptides in Egypt.
1. Ask where the product actually comes from
There is a meaningful difference between a supplier that buys through authorized channels and one that buys whatever is cheapest on an open marketplace. Authorized sourcing means the vial came from the manufacturer or its appointed distributor, with an unbroken chain of custody.
A supplier who cannot name the origin of their stock, or who changes suppliers based on price, is selling you an unknown. Ask the question directly. At Space Pep we source exclusively through authorized channels in Europe and the United States.
2. Check how it reached Egypt
Peptides are temperature-sensitive. A lyophilised powder is more stable than a reconstituted solution, but weeks in an uncontrolled container crossing the Mediterranean in summer is not neutral for product integrity.
Air freight keeps compounds in transit for days rather than weeks. Ask whether stock is flown in refrigerated, and what happens between arrival and your door — specifically, whether it goes out to you directly or sits in an ordinary room somewhere first.
3. Check the packaging before anything else
The single clearest signal of authenticity is original manufacturer packaging that has never been opened. A vial that has been opened, re-vialled, diluted, or relabelled cannot be verified against anything, no matter what the label claims.
If a supplier repackages product, they are asking you to trust their process rather than the manufacturer’s. Insist on vials that arrive exactly as they left the production facility.
4. Look for the lot number
Every legitimate vial carries a printed lot number. That number is what ties the physical object in your hand to the manufacturer’s specific production run.
A missing, smudged, or hand-written lot number means there is no way to trace the compound. It should be treated as disqualifying.
5. Think about storage before the order arrives
Egypt’s summer makes storage a live concern rather than a theoretical one. Lyophilised peptide should be stored at −20 °C, protected from light, in its original vial until use. A standard household freezer is generally adequate; a fridge is not the same thing.
Orders should arrive in insulated packaging with cold packs. If a supplier ships in an envelope, that tells you what their handling standards are.

- Does it travel to you directly, or sit in an uncontrolled warehouse first?
- Is the original manufacturer packaging intact?
- Is a lot number printed and legible?
