AOD-9604 is a modified fragment of human growth hormone, built from amino acids 177 to 191 with an extra tyrosine added at the start for stability. It was developed to keep growth hormone’s fat-burning effect while leaving out its effects on growth and blood sugar.

How it works

AOD-9604 mimics the way growth hormone acts on fat cells: it encourages stored fat to be broken down (lipolysis) and discourages new fat from forming (lipogenesis). Unlike full growth hormone, it does not raise IGF-1 and has not been shown to affect insulin sensitivity or blood glucose in study conditions.
