GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) complexed with copper(II). It was first isolated from human plasma, where its concentration is reported to decline with age.
Research has examined GHK-Cu in relation to collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, extracellular matrix remodelling, wound-repair signalling, and hair follicle biology. Its copper-transport function is a frequent focus of dermatological literature.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a factory-sealed vial. Store at −20 °C, protected from light. For laboratory research use only.
